Our Contemporary Furniture is ideal as cafe furniture, restaurant furniture and modern bar furniture. Products in this range include the Remo and Catania cafe chairs, Rio and Napoli restaurant chairs, Chester bar stools in round, square or triangular shapes, Pyramid bar/restaurant tables in black or chrome plated finishes and many more. The style of bar/cafe chairs that includes our Catania and Corsica chairs was first developed for mass production in the 1950's by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. One of his most famous designs, the Series 7 chair 3107 which was introduced in 1955 and is reproduced in our Catania chair. It is still a very popular chair often combined with other restaurant furniture and cafe furniture creating a bright and modern look to any interior. Our Rio and Napoli chairs are also very suitable as restaurant or cafe chairs, having a very strong steel construction and the added comfort of the upholstered seat pad. Because we have our own upholsterers we can offer a wide choice of fabric coverings in Tweed, plain or patterned Dralon and plain or patterned Flatwoven fabrics, all upholstered on to high quality UK made combustion modified upholstery foam. Very popular recent additions to this section are the square and rectangular Pyramid restaurant tables and the Ridge restaurant / bar tables. We can offer these in a variety of table top sizes in a choice of three finishes - dark oak, walnut or light oak (see cast iron tables setion for top choices and prices). These tables look excellent when combined with others from this section but also with many other restaurant chairs including the leather dining chairs and wooden Boston, Washington and Squareback chairs from our restaurant furniture section.
