Our Abbruzzo leather dining chairs with dark oak legs have strong birchwood frames which have been tested by the Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA) to ensure that they are suitable for use in a contract environment. The frames have extra strengthening blocks at the point where each leg is attached to the seat frame to give a very robust joint that is so important in this type of chair. High quality FR foam on strong elastic webbing gives excellent comfort in the long term. The Abbruzzos have become very popular in recent years as cafe, bar or restaurant chairs and look perfect when combined with either modern or traditional restaurant tables, for example the WT/1 WELLINGTON TABLE or the CF/71 DOUBLE BLACK PYRAMID table.
